PROJECTS

HAMPERS FOR FAMILIES

This is an ongoing project aimed at addressing the economic and social challenges in Zimbabwe which have resulted in families requiring consistent support through donations to access basic needs. This campaign sources groceries and toiletries which are then distributed to families identied by community leaders as needing urgent assistance. In 2020, we distributed 312 hampers. In 2021, thus far, we have distributed 151 hampers.

WARMER WINTER

This project runs annually during the winter season. Our aim is to source and provide blankets and warm clothing for the less privileged families. Our desire is to ensure that these families go through the winter months feeling warm. In winter 2020, we managed to distribute 5 blankets, and in 2021, 22 blankets and many clothing items were distributed to 20 families.

EMPOWER A CHILD

Put a smile on a child has partners in the agriculture industry who will help by providing knowledge and resources for the children to start their own self sustaining agriculture projects.

An ongoing project and has been running from August 2014.

EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN

The aim of this project is to source and provide school fees, uniforms, and stationery to children whose families cannot afford to keep in school. We want to ensure that the basic human right of education is made available to all children regardless of their economic and social statuses. We believe that every child deserves an opportunity to develop and enrich their potential to be successful in the future. This project has been running at the beginning of each school term since August 2014.

CLOTHING AND SHOES

This project also started in 2014. It aims to source and provide families with clothes and shoes. Part of our aim is also to distribute toys to children whenever possible.

STATIONERY & BOOKS

This project aims at sourcing and providing the children with stationery. Put a smile on a child has ambassadors who are sourcing and gathering for stationery for the children. This stationery will be donated to the homes the beginning of every school term.

An ongoing project and has been running from August 2014.
