ABOUT US

Put A Smile On A Child (PASOC) is a registered charity organization that aims to raise awareness of the needs of disadvantaged children in and around Zimbabwe and seek for resources on their behalf. This is inclusive of but not limited to abandoned children and HIV/AIDS orphans.

The rise in poverty and the increase in loss of life due to HIV/AIDS, COVID, and other ailments have left many children orphaned. Some of the children are now being taken care of by grandmothers or have been placed in orphanages.

Over the years, we have come to realize that attention is given mostly to orphanages that are well known and established. This creates a gap between them and the orphanages and homes that are not popular. Our aim is to bridge this gap by creating awareness of the needs of less known orphanages and homes and ensuring that the children and their caregivers receive the resources they need. Our vision is to change
the world of underprivileged children by providing the children with basic necessities without them having to feel the impact of the harsh economic conditions and the void of not having parents.

Meeting the needs of children living in disadvantaged orphanages and homes is our main goal at PASOC. With the help of donors, we will be able to continue to provide clothing for them , pay for their school fees, and train them and their caregivers on how to run their own self-sustaining projects like market gardening and poultry farming.
